We invite you to make a commitment to a valuable Iowa State University and Ames community resource by supporting the University Museums. The University Museums depends heavily on private dollars from individuals, foundations, and businesses to fund art-related programs and activities. There are several ways to contribute:
You can join the museum as an annualmember and receive a variety of year-long benefits while supporting an important cultural organization. When you become a member of the University Museums, you will support an important cultural organization, learn more about art and art history, and be among the first to know about upcoming museum events. Also, consider giving a gift of University Museums membership to a friend or family member so that they can enjoy valuable benefits all year round.

In addition to membership contributions, you can support the museum by contributing to the general fund or art purchase fund, donating a work of art, contributing goods or services, or including the museum in your will. While the Iowa State University budget supports the University Museums' administrative expenses, private dollars and grants fund the museum's programs and exhibitions. The University Museums' success depends on the generosity of our many devoted donors. A financial gift to the University Museum demonstrates your support of this unique cultural organization and helps maintain the museum system's reputation as a leader among university art museums. Cumulative gifts over $15,000 are recognized as Curator's Associates and provide a permanent legacy of generosity. Gifts can be made in honor or in memory of a special friend or relative.

Businesses can support the University Museums through corporate membership, sponsorships, and in-kind donations. The University Museums offers opportunities for large and small businesses to become an active part of the museums. Corporate membership provides vital funding for the museums' programs and activities. In turn, corporations receive benefits that offer community recognition and opportunities for company employees and representatives to experience museums exhibitions and programs.
