At the Farm House Museum

The historic Farm House, campus’ oldest building, has been trimmed and decorated for the 2019 Holidays. Enjoy the spirit of the season! See the Farm House Museum filled with holiday cheer and enjoy the festive ambiance and historic atmosphere. Each floor is trimmed with care and in the traditions of a Victorian Yuletide!
HOLIDAY OPEN HOUSE: Saturday, December 7 - noon to 4:00 p.m.
Enjoy Victorian-inspired crafts, holiday refreshments, festive decorations and tell Santa Claus your holiday wishes! Santa will be available from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. Free and open to the public.
Also open: The Brunnier Art Museum in the Scheman Building and the Christian Petersen Art Museum in Morrill Hall will also be open from noon to 4:00 p.m. The Brunnier Art Museum currently has three exhibitions: Artists in Iowa: The First Century, Jennifer Steinkamp, and Iowa and Contemporary Pottery. The Christian Petersen Art Museum is currently exhibiting Force of Nature: The Art of Susan Chrysler White.
Yuletide at the Farm House 2019 decorations are generously supported by Carol Pletcher and featured permanent collection objects are generously gifted by Donald Larew, Margaret E. Sanders, John Pesek in memory of his wife Isabel Christensen Pesek, and donations in memory of Joan Kluge.

Admission: The cost is free, however there is a suggested donation of $3 per visitor.
