Art Walk: Metalwork in Public Art

"An Exploration of Materials in Public Art" is the theme for this semester’s Art Walks hosted by University Museums’ staff and docents. Each walk will be centered on a singular material that makes up a majority of the selected public art presented in the walk. The tours will discuss artist, process, and innovation in materials. Meet tour guide Lynette Pohlman at Floating World in the Biorenewables Complex atrium.

Registration is encouraged but not required. By registering, you will receive any updates or changes about this event. Free and open to the public.

January 26: Metalwork, begins in Biorenewables Complex Atrium
February 23: Textiles, begins at Jischke Honors Building Lobby
March 30: Glass, begins at Beardshear Hall Second Floor Rotunda
April 27: Painted Murals, begins at Anderson Sculpture Garden (near the Hub)
May 25: Ceramics, Lagomarcino Hall Courtyard
June 29: Stone, begins at Kildee Hall Lobby
July 27: Wood, begins at Scheman Building, 1st Floor Atrium
