The Victorian lady was the original craft queen and DIY-er. Her capable hands decorated her home; her clothing, if not hand-sewn, was often embellished by her skillful embroidery. While many imagine the Victorian lady as sitting decorously in her parlor with a basket of needlework, Victorian women were capable of much more than that. Join University Museums to uncover the stories of women crafters at the Farm House Museum.
Registration is encouraged but not required. Free and open to the public.
