An Exploration of Materials in Public Art is the theme for this semester’s Art Walks hosted by University Museums’ staff and docents. Each walk will be centered on a singular material that makes up a majority of the selected public art presented in the walk.
UPDATE: This tour will focus on the handcrafted wood of Sticks, featured throughout campus. The tour will commence outside of the Memorial Union by the Fountain of Four Seasons. From there the group will go to Maple Willow Larch Hall, then Hixon-Lied Student Success Center, and conclude in the Horticulture lobby. Led by docent Cindy Scholten.
