Location:
Brunnier Art Museum, 295 Scheman Building
Founded in the 1930s, Iowa State University’s Portrait Collection presents a wonderful group of individuals who have left—and are leaving—their mark on our campus, country and planet. The ISU Portrait Collection portrays scientists, engineers, artists, humanitarians, presidents, deans and department chairs, visionaries and villains, agriculturalists and activists, entrepreneurs and journalists, who helped shape our culture and whose lives tell significant Iowa State stories. University Museums Director Lynette Pohlman will share some of these stories and talk about the tradition of portraiture at Iowa State.
