For nearly 40 years, Joe Patrick taught drawing and painting in The University of Iowa’s School of Art and Art History until his retirement in 2004, twenty-five years as head of the drawing area of the School. His figure drawing workshop for advanced undergraduate and graduate students was immensely popular. Don’t miss this opportunity to enhance your drawing skills and learn from this notable Iowa artist amidst an exhibition of his drawings and paintings. This workshop will focus on the figurative subject of heads. Chairs will be provided. Bring your own media and easel if you need one. Space is limited and registration is required.
