Ginsberg’s Howl – A Reading for National Poetry Month

The first public performance of Allen Ginsberg’s Howl happened at Six Gallery in San Francisco in 1955. Artist Manuel Neri helped to coordinate the historic event. In celebration of National Poetry Month, enjoy a reading of this legendary poem by local poets while surrounded by the art of Neri, an influential Bay area figurative sculptor.
