Political cartoons have been a method of disseminating political events to a wide audience for decades, often featuring distorted figures and satire. In connection with Double Take: Insights on Figural Expression, on view in the Christian Petersen Art Museum, join a Zoom conversation between University of Iowa Special Collections and Archives’ Lead Outreach and Instruction Librarian Elizabeth Riordan, and Iowa State University Museums’ curator Sydney Marshall for a look at the works of three Iowa political cartoonists: Ding Darling, Frank Miller, and Brian Duffy.
