In connection with the exhibition Art of Fabrication in the Christian Petersen Art Museum, the layered processes behind the life of a work of public art will be explored in this Zoom panel discussion. Learn about the perspectives of building the Art on Campus Collection from curator Sydney Marshall of University Museums. Dan Perry of University of Northern Iowa’s Public Art Incubator (PAI) will discuss PAI and its legacy of teaching fabrication, and their relationship in the care of University Museums works of art. Reinaldo Correa, a public artist and Assistant Professor in ISU’s Department of Architecture, will discuss his perspective on public art both as a creator and an educator.
