Student Resources

University Museums is the Iowa State community’s museum with the goal to provide all students with access to educational resources during their time studying on campus. In addition to internship and fellowship experiences, students can also engage with the museums in number of ways.

Visit the museums in-person and explore the current exhibitions. See what’s on now.

Participate in a wide range of public programs: from artist lectures, gallery chats, and art walks around campus. See upcoming events.

Search the entire museum collection of 30,000+ objects using the eMuseum database and explore object records, interpretations, and featured object collections.

Explore virtual programs or read blog entries by the staff, interns, and faculty to dig deeper into the collection.

Take a virtual walk through Central Campus with the Interactive Art on Campus Digital Map and learn about the public works of art you see daily.

Use a museum space to study or hold a club meeting. To book a space for a meeting contact museums@iastate.edu or fill out our contact form.
