Student Resources

Our goal is to provide all Iowa State students with access to free educational resources during their time studying on campus. Here are ways you can utilize University Museums as a resource:

Visit the museums in-person and explore the current exhibitions.

  See what’s on now.

Participate in a wide range of free, public programs from

artist lectures, gallery chats, and art walks around campus.

  See upcoming events.

Search the entire museum collection of 30,000+ objects

using the eMuseum database. Explore primary sources,

records, interpretations, and featured object collections.

Explore virtual programs or read blog entries by the staff, interns,

and faculty to dig deeper into the collection and select themes.

Discover more by taking a virtual walk through Central Campus

with the Interactive Art on Campus Digital Map and learn

about the public works of art you see daily.

Use a museum space to study or hold a club meeting.

To book a space for a meeting contact museums@iastate.edu

or fill out our contact form.

Become an intern or student employee and gain insight on careers in the museum field while earning professional experience. Go to the internship page to learn more and apply online.
