Stop and smell the roses at opening night of University Museums’ annual Brunnier in Bloom. This event showcases the talents of floral designers as they are challenged to create arrangements inspired by works of art on exhibition in the Brunnier Art Museum. On opening night you will be the first to hear who the judges choose as this year’s winners, while enjoying music, light refreshments, and mingling with the floral designers.
This year's judges are Kate Gregory, ISU Senior Vice President for University Services, Rob Wallace, artist and Associate Professor of Botany, Frankie Parrott, and Vicki Lage from Perry, IA.
Music will be provided by Dang Felton and Michaela Thompson.
Brunnier in Bloom - Saturday and Sunday, March 25 and 26, 11:00 to 4:00 pm
Celebrate spring at the Brunnier Art Museum’s annual pairing of beautiful art and fabulous flowers. Visitors will be able to cast their vote for the People’s Choice award and participate in a silent auction and raffle for prizes donated by local businesses, with all of the proceeds supporting University Museums educational programming.
Saturday, March 25th at 2pm, Designing Your Home Landscape - A presentation by ISU Landscape Architect Chris Strawhacker
All Brunnier in Bloom visitors will receive a half off admission pass to Reiman Gardens for the same weekend.
