  • Two weeks' notice required

  • Minimum of 8 people, maximum varies depending on location

    • Large groups may be split into smaller groups

  • $5 per person per location (or Art on Campus) Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m.

    • All other times $8 per person per location

    • No charge for ISU affiliates or K-12 school groups

Please note: 

The ISU campus is bike and pedestrian friendly. There is limited vehicle access to Osborne Drive and Morrill Road from 7:30 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. Monday-Friday. Should you need to access these roads during these times to visit the Christian Petersen Art Museum and/or the Farm House Museum, please call the office at 515.294.3342 ahead of your visit to receive instructions.

The museums are typically closed mid-December through mid-January and again mid-July through mid-August to change exhibitions. Tours may be limited to Art on Campus during these times. We encourage you to check the calendar for scheduled closures.

University Museums tours will be scheduled on a first come, first served basis. Children must be accompanied by adults as outlined by the Iowa State University Office of Risk Management. University Museums reserves the right to decline any tour requests.
